Effect of Emulsified Water Mass Fraction on Gelling Properties of Waxy Crude Oil

While water exists in the waxy crude oil, gelling process of this non⁃Newtonian oil⁃water two⁃phase system not only has the properties of waxy crude oil but also its own specific characteristic as decrease of temperature. Both the gelling temperature limit and change rule of gelling strength in W/O waxy crude oil emulsion system under different emulsified water fractions, were investigated by rheological measurement. The results indicate that the characteristic gelling temperature and the strength of the gels increase with the increasing of emulsified water fraction, when the temperature decreasing at a certain rate; the gelling temperature in W/O waxy crude oil emulsion system of any given emulsified water fraction rises with the increasing of cooling rate, while the gelling strength decreased with the cooling rate rising under the constant pressure. The research results of the effect of emulsified water on the gelling characteristic for waxy crude oil at cooling process provides necessary support for the development and application of flow technology for multiphase transportation.

Small Scale Jacking Machine Cutter Design and Finite Element Analysis

Pipe jacking project is regarded as a technology of nonexcavation pipe jacking construction project, which has the most prominent feature of adaptability. The cutter head is one of the key components of the jacking machine crossing oilgas pipelines, which major function is to accomplish crushing and peeling of rock soil of tunnel face, and takes a key role in digging function. Because of the difficulty of changing cutters and the complexity of the work environment, there is a high demand for the intensity of the cutter head. A corresponding cutter design program is established based on the special geology of the construction domain, and the torque and thrust calculation methods are given. Besides, the finite element model is established under the help of the ANSYS(finite element analysis software), so that the stress, strain, and strength reserve distribution are obtained. The analysis results show that the greatest equivalent stress appears at the interface between corbel and transmission shaft. The greatest stress is 37.6 MPa and the largest distortion is 0.06 mm.The result of this research provides effective theory evidence for optimal structural design of the cutter head.

The CO2 Foam System Selection and Performance Evaluation of Low Permeability Reservoirs

There are many problems in the development process of the low permeability oilfields including water injection difficulty, high water flooded degree, low utilization efficiency of injected water and gas channeling of gas injection. Through a large number of laboratory physical simulation experiments and tests, the best CO2foam system was selected out for a low permeability blocks CO2foam flooding in Jilin oil field. The stability, foaminess, injectivity and applicable scope of the permeability of three systems were conducted. The results showed that the three kinds of foam agent all had good foaminess and stability, and all of them could be injected within the range. When the temperature rose from 45 ℃ to 100 ℃, the halflife of foam systems sharply reduced, and the stability of them turned bad. In the three foam systems, FP388 was the optimal one which had best foaminess and comprehensive performance.

Influence of Long Transmission Natural Gas Properties on Internal Corrosion of Pipeline

The properties of DongfangYangpuHaikou and DongfangSanya pipeline natural gas were analyzed, the content of CO2 was 4.94%(mol) and 8.21%(mol) respectively, which was more than 3%(mol) required in standard (Q/SY 30—2002). The content of H2S was 25.2 mg/m3 in the DongfangSanya pipeline natural gas, which was also more than standard of 20 mg/m3. So, the chemical corrosion of DongfangSanya pipeline was serious. By the test of sulfate reducing bacteria cultivating, sulfate reducing bacteria corrosion was proved in DongfangYangpuHaikou pipeline, although it was very slight.

The Prediction Model of Damage Fatigue Life of String in Gas Drilling

Based on the modern damage mechanics research,aiming at the gas drilling string frequent fracture failure,the drill string damage evolution process was analyzed. The gas drilling damage fatigue life prediction model of the drill string was established. The gas drill string damage fatigue life model was the main factors influencing the fatigue life of drill string. And damage gradient was introduced to explore the relationship among axial load, injury tolerance and strain. According to the theory and case analysis, the relationship between injury tolerance and strain is going through a change from space period to quasi periodic with the axial load increasing. Meanwhile, damage localization occurs that lead to drill string fatigue failure. 

Preparation of [HSO 3pmim] +[HSO 4- and Catalyzing  Waste Cooking Oil to Produce Biodiesel

The bronsted acidic ionoic liquid ([HSO 3pmim] +[HSO 4- ) was synthesized with Nmethylimidazole and 1, 3propyl sulfonic acid lactone. The raw materials and ionoic liquid were characterised by FTIR with KBr, then the absorption peak was analysed serially, the absorption of the chemical bond show that the molecular structure of the product was matched the theoretical structure, so the accurate structure was confirmed. And the reaction conditions of preparation biodiesel from waste cooking oil was optimized, it demonstrated that under the optimum reaction conditions the yield could reach 90.82%, the ionoic liquid could be reused three times. 

Influence of Rejuvenators on Recycled Asphalts in Temperature Susceptibility

Three kinds of simulation aged asphalt were recycled by three different rejuvenators . Penetration index and
viscosity temperature susceptibility were used to evaluate temperature susceptibility of recycled asphalts . All of the three
rejuvenators recover the aged asphalts in temperature susceptibility at low and mid - high temperature . The effect of
rejuvenator C is better than others . No obvious laws are found at middle temperature , the rejuvenators increase the aged
asphalts temperature susceptibilities .Rejuvenator A decreases the temperature susceptibility at high temperature ,however B
and C increase a little .With the components analysis of rejuvenators it can be concluded that saturates decrease the temperature
susceptibility of high temperature ,while the aromatics can increase it at high temperature .

Flocculatility and Mechanism of MDFFA Composite System

The flocculability of composite system of molecular deposition filming flooding agent(MDFFA) and fluorine-containing cationic surfactant (FC-4), decamethonium bromide (DMB), hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium (CTAB) was investigated, and the preliminary flocculation mechanism of these composite flocculants was discussed by analyzing Zeta potential on bentonite suspension. The results show that DMB and MDFFA have better flocculation capability on bentonite suspension. FC-4/MDFFA composite system has synergistic effect. 10%FC-4, 90%DMB and 10%CTAB appear best flocculability on bentonite suspension. Several tests on treating oil emulsion contenting bentonite reveal that the floccculability follows the order CTAB> DMB>MDFFA>FC-4. 90%FC-4, 70%DMB and 90%CTAB have best flocculability. Flocculating mechanism of FC-4, CTAB and their mixed systems with MDFFA is mainly charge neutralization, while MDFFA,DMB and DMB/MDFFA composite system is mainly compress electricity double layer.

Temperature Drop of Shutdown the Exposed Pipeline

For the exposed crude oil pipelines,the heat capacity of oil in pipelines was much smaller than that in surrounding soil,so the cooling rate of exposed line was much faster than that of the buried line.And it becomes the key to limit shutdown time of oil transport line.Based on the bare hot oil pipeline thermal and hydraulic characteristics, established a pipeline shutdown temperature drop mathematical model.Use finite difference method after simplifying the model,changed the heat transfer partial differential equations into a system of linear equations,then used iterative method to calculate.Compile program diagram of the shutdown temperature drop of temperature field,calculated temperature distribution during different shutdown time.Compared the temperature of the governing center, 1/2 radius of the wall, developed a viable intermittent oil
transportation program.

The Application of L-E-E Equation in Calculating the Thermo-Physical Properties of Natural Gas

For gas pipeline, simulating the working condition was necessary in order to work safely and economically and manage rationally. Some gas pressure was up to 10 MPa in the pipeline, in which the result by equation for ideal gas has the greater error. L-E-E equation was applied to solve the physical parameters such as the compression factor, practice gas density, specific heat, adiabatic index, entropy, enthalpy and so on. And the program was compiled to calculate the properties. The calculate results show that L-E-E equation is much accurate and can be applied widely in the practice.
